Permedia releases MPath 4.12

The Permedia Research Group releases MPath 4.12, an incremental update to the industry-leading petroleum migration and reservoir filling toolkit.

MPath's visualization tools have been enhanced with support for ultra-high resolution volumes, additional tools for querying mesh properties and displaying burial histories, and integration with Geocosm Touchstone.

MPath 4.12 includes a new two-component, miscible mixing simulator, for modeling the mixing of two fluids (i.e., light and heavy components). The simulator can model free convection, dispersion and diffusion, and a variety of scenarios, including boundary or well injection.

MPath 4.12 also includes more data handling tools and enhanced external file support, including export to Google Earth.

MPath's post processing tools have also been enhanced, with an advanced risking framework and new point based and region-of-interest (ROI) based querying.
